Each formation team is required to submit the "Cosume Approval Form" and also their "Beats and Bars" (for Ballroom teams). Please use this link: Team Costume Approval and Beats & Bars
Formation team entries are online - log in below as normal, then create a "team" instead of a "couple".
1. Music for formation teams will need to be submitted via download through MusicDrop. Details will be emailed to directors approximately two weeks prior to the championships.
2. The draw for the order of appearance for all teams will be conducted soon after the closing date. The draw will be filmed, and the order then posted on the website.
3. The order of appearance that a team draws will remain the same through the final round - there will be no "re-draws".
4. The age divisions for formation teams are: Pre-Teen - grades K-6, Junior - grades 7-9, and Youth - grades 10-12.
5. Any damage to the Marriott Center by a formation team due to hair coloring, make-up, etc will be the responsibility of the team director to pay for.
6. Applying hair spray, make-up, gel, hair color, etc is not allowed at any place inside the arena, including the upper bleachers.
7. Only the team coach(es), and any alternates for that specific team are allowed to stand in the front - they should access the standing area from the East side of the arena, then exit to the West when the team finishes.
8. Teams placing in the top three positions in each division will receive a trophy and up to 18 medals (enough for 1 reserve couple). Teams placing 4th and below will receive a trophy for the team.
